Every February, there's a weeklong school holiday for exercise and relaxation called sportlov in Sweden, the "winter sports holiday." Many Swedish families flock to the mountains for some prime skiing conditions.
Swedish ski resorts overflow with vacationers in February. Some of them host international events to boot. Åre, Sweden is home to the FIS Freestyle World Cup later this week (February 13th and 14th) for men's and women's moguls.
